Who she is
A voice out of time
AALBA writes and performs songs shaped by the great vocal records of the 1940s through the 1960s — the intimacy of a single microphone, a room full of players, and a lyric that refuses to look away.
Raised on her family's record collection, she found her voice in small clubs before ever entering a studio. That grounding shows: her arrangements leave space, her phrasing breathes, and her performances are built for a live room rather than a screen.
Her recorded work pairs warm analog textures with contemporary production, and her live sets move between hushed ballads, swinging standards and her own originals. She performs solo, in trio, and with a full band.
